Sage General Store has been preparing both traditional and contemporary food, using the freshest naturally-grown produce, meat and poultry. We seek out small, local family-run farms and purveyors, to bring you food full of authentic flavors. We promise you sustainable catering, with hormone-free chicken, grass-fed beef, organic milk and eggs, fair trade coffee and tea, and artisan breads and cheeses. We compost our waste and send reusable white platters, wooden boxes, woven baskets and biodegradable cutlery and paper goods. Biz Bash, Crain's NY Business and Greenopia have praised us for our efforts to be local, organic and delicious.
Our menus change by the season. Please call us for the current selections: 212.888.2664 or 718.361.0707. |

Orders may be placed Monday through Friday from 9am - 4pm. Visa, Mastercard, Diners and American Express accepted; we do our best to accommodate last minute orders, but many of our small, organic purveyors require 24-48 hours advance ordering. All cancellations must be made by 4 pm the prior day or full charges will apply. An 18% service charge is added to orders over $250, to cover delivery, set-up and transportation costs, including eco-friendly rickshaw pick up. For orders under the $250 minimum, a standard $50 service charge applies. Our good neighbor policy: local LIC clients pay a flat 10% service charge. |
|
We send our products on reusable platters, baskets and glassware, a significant reduction in office waste. If items are missing from same day pick-up, an equipment charge will apply. We want to encourage all staff to reuse and recycle. |
